Memory Lane take 2.

So, there are a lot of pics on this one.  I have not done this in a while, so I thought I would catch up.  I know it is not Friday, but I figured that I am not good at doing things at a certain time; I do everything at random.  So, I will be posting my "Memory Lane" pics at random basically.

For those of you who have not known me for that long, do you ever wonder if I was always weird?  As you can see from the pics down below the answer is yes, I was.  I thought it was so much fun to dress up as ugly as possible and then go knock on random people's doors.  The people in our neighborhood loved it.  They would take pics and just crack up at us.  So this is my childhood friend Kerri who was enough of a sport to do this with me.  Thanks Kerri!

My poor Dad.  He let me do whatever I wanted to his poor hair.  You can tell my Daddy loves me.  That is our adorable dog Sugar who he is holding.  I miss that dog.

So, this is the first time I ever wore make-up.  Jamie, the one on the left did it for us as we were making up a dance, probably to the song "Pretty Woman," or something like that.  We made dances up daily.
So this is junior high graduation.  My dress is way too short.  Madeline's will be a lot longer.
So you would think that dressing up faze would go away once I entered high school.  It didn't.  This is my best friend Allison.  We loved dressing up as gangsters and taking pics of us breaking into our own cars and doing random stuff.  We are holding up our jail signs and we are wearing my Dad's clothes.
I played volley ball in high school and absolutely loved it.  It was so funny to see pics of me with the girls because I practically only went up to their knees.  I like this pic because I think I look like a dinosaur in it.
This is my junior year in high school.  I was such a long-haired hippie girl.
I love this shot.  They took it of us so we could demonstrate safety in chemistry class.  Sexy glasses if I might say so myself.
Allison did not attend Mission Viejo high school, however since she was going to a football game with me I did not want anyone to throw hot dogs at us.  I made her dress in red.  We were excited needless to say.
High school dances, way too much fun.  It's where you spend the whole time dancing with your girlfriends and pretty much ignoring your date.  All my dates were fun though, well, most of them were.  This is Junior winter formal I believe.  My other best friend, Amber, is standing next to me.
This is senior homecoming, or winter formal.  I can't even remember.  I am getting too old.  This is my friend Christina.  Her backyard view was sooooooo amazing.
Deri, sorry I was grabbing your chest.  My favorite part though, is Mishel's eye ball in the back ground in between our heads.  I can't believe we are all married now.
Ok, I know this one is Senior prom and again I am with Amber.  Together we look like lady bugs.  What a fun night!
Yeah, I graduated high school and here is proof.  Those are my adorable parents.  I am so BLESSED!

Tune in next time for more memories!

Matt you are an amazing Father and I could not imagine anyone else I would want to go through this journey of parenthood with other than you.  I love the way that Madeline looks at you.  She just knows that she can always depend on her Dad already.  She lets you throw her in any way possible and loves every minute of it.  She is chill and kick back with her Daddy and knows she can always be herself around you.  The way that she kisses and snuggles you is absolutely priceless.  I am proud of you Mr. D J  Being the provider and protector of our family is not an easy task by any means.  You have taken that task on with confidence and with love.  Thank you for being an amazing Hubby and Father!!!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! We've made 3 years :)

Before our wedding:

Our Wedding day:

About a year after our wedding day, baby in the belly:

Our baby arrived:

Today I wanted to reflect a little bit on our past three years of marriage together.  It still cracks me up that the guy I met on the night I got my mission call I ended up marrying.  I loved it when we were in Hawaii this past week or so and you were still able to swim under water as long as I could, just like the night we met.  You've been able to continually keep me guessing and keep me on my toes throughout our marriage.  I love it, life can never get dull with you around.  I will never forget the day that you proposed to me under the waterfall.  Again when we went to Hawaii it was so much fun to be swimming under that huge waterfall together. Right then I remembered how blessed I was to have found you and to be married to you for all eternity.  I think when couples in general get married, through the frustrating times we very easily forget how incredibly blessed we are to have each other.  I know that I am definitely guilty of that, however I hope you know that I am eternally grateful for you.  You don't seem to mind it when I talk your head off and don't let you get a word in edge wise.  Instead of being embarrassed at all the weird and crazy things I do and say you sit there with this adorable smirk on your face and just nod your head in disbelief.  You continue to tell me cheesy jokes almost on a daily basis, and although I may not be cracking up at all of them, I truly love each and everyone of them.  You are an amazing and very hard worker.  You are so honest and so sincere.  You love life and you love all your friends and your family and you do a wonderful job of showing that love.  I know everyday you try your best to be the best Husband and Father you can be.  No matter what, I know you are always there for me.  I love you Matthew Deter.  You are still and will always be the most handsome and loving man I have ever seen.

Love always and for all eternity,
Tu Preciosa

Kauai in a nutshell. Picture mania!

So Matt bought me this awesome camera for Mother's Day.  It takes under water pics, even though when you look at it you would never guess that it could do that.  I used it a ton and here are all the pics from our trip to Kauai.  We had an amazing time.  We are sad and happy to be home.  I do miss it already though.

Check these out:

So my parents stayed at the Hyatt and they had a sweet pool.  It was pretty much a river whirlpool.  They had a HUGE slide as well that we fell in love with.  My Dad, Matt and I were constantly finding new techniques that would make us to go faster.

Isn't she gorgeous?

This little slide right here would transition you into the other parts of the pool.  It was a major hit with Madeline.

He is so handsome.

So, I am obsessed with how ugly snorkeling gear makes you look, so I had to show all of you how dang HOT we look with it on :)

This is Kee beach.  It was so fun to snorkel here.  They had amazing hikes as well along the Napali Coast line.

My Dad was very excited to have his pic taken with the hot Hawaiian ladies.

This was at Poipu Beach.  It was a perfect beach for kids and it had some good snorkeling as well.

I thought this pic looked cool.  Don't you love my long, alien, french fry toes squeezing Matt's head?

So, I have to say that this was the high light of the trip.  We went kayaking through the rainforest and then we hiked through it to see some amazing waterfalls.  Then we swam in the waterfall, which kind of hurt by the way, and then headed back.  We LOVED it.

I had to throw this pic in there, since it looks like Matt's calf is my leg and it looks like I have one HUGE calf and one small one .  I thought all of you would enjoy it as well.

It is amazing how their trees grow.

This is the waterfall.  I swear it is bigger in person.

This is my favorite pic.  I loved taking pictures under neath the waterfall.  Matt proposed to me under a waterfall, so this was pretty cool.

These are the Secret Falls.  Shhhhh, don't tell anyone.

So, there was this band playing every night and Madeline went nuts over them.  She was totally flirting with one of the band members as well.  He let her play one of the instruments and she was in heaven and dancing like a nut of course.

My parents.  So adorable.

We also went on a helicopter ride, which was amazing.  He showed us all the waterfalls and parts of the island that were in the movie Jarrastic Park.  I could not think of a better island for that movie.  Below are some pics from the helicopter.  Madeline went with us, which I thought was crazy, but she was really good.

The entire fam in Hawaii.

The End.  I hope you all enjoyed.
